Conversion factor issue in material doc.

Hi Experts,

We are facing conversion factor issue. could you please provide your valuable information on the below scenario

conversion factors mantained as below

1 PAL= 42 ST ( in batch master)

we have removed quanity from inventory  42 ST

but system generated material document wrongly as 42 PAL

This looks like classification, how do you enter those values?

Are you using batch specific units of measure?

But your screenshot from the movement shows that the user had entered 42 pallet (Qty in unit of entry) , so you can actually be lucky that you did not get 1764 ST.

anyway the conversion in the units of measure view is certainly wrong with 1 PAL = 1 ST.

With batch specific units you should actually have proportion units in your material, do you?

If you don't maintain proportional unit for the material code then system will picks conversion factor maintained under unit of measure tab (1:1).

Thanks every one, yesterday i have checked each and every field finally found that user forgort to maintain proportianl unit in material master reocord additional data.

You can see the conversion 1:1 in your material master.

Now you need to check the batch number in this material document number.

Take the batch number, material, plant and storage location from this material document number and go to MSC3N and check the classification tab along with changes log.
