Purchase Requisition - set deletion status

We have divested a number of companies/plants over the years.
There are over 1 million Purchase Requisition line items in EBAN which are not closed and not deleted.

The team that did the last set of archiving has left.

Do the PReqs have to be Closed (EBAKZ) before they can have the deletion flag (LOEKZ) set via SARA?

It is only possible to archive completed business cases. Completed either means that the entire quantity of he PR is  ordered, or the PR was marked for deletion.

And additionally the residence time between the last change and today has to be past.

Use BAPI_PR_CHANGE to set the completion (EBAN-EBAKZ) flag, then wait till the residence time has past and then archive.
