Hi experts.

Need you advice in configuration of SAP Netweaver Gateway.

We have installed SAP NetWeaver 7.40 production system and Netweaver Gateway is a part of our system.

Does we need change our configuration to a gateway as a standalone engine?

This is a productive system and now we use gateway by odata calls with rate about 4 calls per second.

In the future we are planning to increase palyload on Gateway - use odata calls with rate 100-200 calls per second.

Does we need change our configuration to a gateway as a standalone engine?

Hello Minich,

Keeping GW system as Hub would be the good option and has got advantages..

However having GW system as Embedded or Hub has got their own advantages and disadvantages.

Having a look at the below once might give more info and helps deciding how we want GW system to be

Deployment Options - SAP NetWeaver Gateway Foundation (SAP_GWFND) - SAP Library

Hello Vladimir,

Those notes might be also useful. Especially first note has useful info about Odata.
