Unable copy company code KS0A to KQ01 in the t-code ABNV

Hi, I meet a problem about the number range.

I copy a company code KS0A to a code KQ01, after that, I try to maintain the number range in t-code ABNV, but I fail to copy KS0A to KQ01, and get a message noted that Enter intervals without overlap.

In the KS0A, there are No 01 and No 02, but I have no idea why I cannot copy them to KQ01.

Anybody would like to share the reasons and the solutions about this question?

Thanks.

Hi,

I almostly figure out what it is.

If somebody have the same question about ABNV like me, I will sugguest you no need to care about it when you are configuring.

The number ranges of ABNV are auto-created while dealing with the asset, so that means it doesn't need configure by us.

Hi,

Please check if any document (under new company code) has been posted withing the no. range which you are trying to maintain for new company code KQ01. If yes, then you will have to manually define the no. range for it rather than copying existing no. range.

Hi, Gaurav.

I am sure that it is clear in the new company code KQ01. By the way, if it has existed the no. range, the system message will be different. So, the situation you refer to can be passed.
