How to create (or invite) new users in SAP JAM Enterprise edition?

Our client has just purchased SAP Jam Enterprise as they want to integrate it with SAP Cloud for Customers (collaboration on service ticket resolution across departments).

I have just logged in with the administrator account to what appears to be a SuccessFactors homepage. I can see how to get to Jam or to the Admin console. But there is no obvious way of creating new users so we can start running demos with the client.

The JAM administrator guide does not seem to explain how to do that ???

Does anybody have a quick tutorial on this topic?

Hi Thierry,

there are two guides which help you through the basic steps:

At http://service.sap.com/rds-cfc-erp you can find a guide which describes the basic steps to configure SuccessFactors Platform including user management as a base. The document is part of a ZIP available in service market place and is called "Setting up SAP Jam for Integration with other SAP Solutions".

Please be aware that this guide just covers the minimum steps. For a complete introduction we strongly recommend to register for the SAP Jam Academy and SuccessFactors Academy course available for partners.

Thanks for this Ingo. Exactly what I needed. I was playing with "Import users" yesterday evening but did not realize you had to export first.

The link http://service.sap.com/rds-cfc-erp always ask for username and password (although I already signed in SAP Communite Network). I don't know the username and password, so I cannot open it.

Any other link that can be opened without username and password? Or could you please copy and paste the main information in that link here to create new user?

Do you know how can external users access SAP JAP? The user guide says the below. But where do I send the invites from?

When you send an invitation, your guest will receive an invitation from notification@sapnetworkmail.com to register as a guest in your company's SAP Jam network with a SAP ID account. When the guest clicks the "View group invitation" link in the email invitation, they will be asked to register for SAP ID or confirm their existing SAP ID credentials before they are given access to SAP Jam.

Currently I am using the default user id that came with the SAP JAM license.
