After creation of an object, how to add Reference characteristic to it.

Hi,

I have created a 'Z' object in flow without adding Reference characteristic.

Instead of removing this 'Z' objects from all the places and delete it/recreate it with reference.

Is there any alternate way to add reference characteristic to the created 'Z' object.

Not sure. But tricky to do like that way.

at backend tables you may need to enter refernce info object.

You need to change backend program of info object maintaiance screen as well.

As my guess thats not the best idea, you better to create Z1info object as reference of main object and used it where ever you want.

As a next alternate, I am trying to create a Transfer Rule between Standard Infobject - Text Datasource to my Z object (just to get the master data) - but in the F4 help, it's only showing certain infoobjects.

Zinfo obejct have attributs and have you flagged as attributes/text mark maintainance screen.

Can you share screen shot.

Even if you maintain Zinfo object is reference of standard one then you need to load data to zinfo obejct.

its take data from standard obejct which is referenced.

Yes, i have marked the text..and it created a datasource for text..

For this Z text datasource - i need to feed from standard datasource.

Like ZCOUNTRY_TEXT fed from 0COUNTRY_TEXT -- It shows only few objects like material, customer.. but not country..

Can you share your screen where your facing problem?

if your loading 0country_text to zinfo object(same type and lenght of 0countr object) then data source will have 0country field(ECC field).
