By default the Livecache Database is not added to the local DBACOCKPIT .

Check the following Note , You can also connect your livecache to ur local dbacockpit  ( no need for solution manager as detailed in the Note )

1371928 - DBA Cockpit: SAP MaxDB/liveCache as remote database

But this does not answer your initial problem . The best  suggestion ( with limited knowledge ) i can give you is to run the stats in DB2 , rerun the report and check whether any improvements

Thanks ,

Run it in background as if it is run in dialog it might fail if  the max_wp_runtime is breached

In DB2 10.5 running statistics is automatically managed by the DB2 engine . Dont know why you want it to be running manually . If the optimizer finds that the statistics is not current it will automatically run a stats on the table  .

Anyways  you are more proactive

Hi ,

As mentioned earlier, I am facing CDP tables database statistics refresh failed error in /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70 ( se38) after the livecache upgrade. it shows a few table names which are failed...

Can I run statistics for these tables in DB20.. example table name : IBINOWN

Thanks in advance

Apologies , i am no good with the APO

If the statistics are current then why should you bother . Any way is not an issue if you manually run the statistics either

But are you sure you have to run the statistics in the DB2 database / Live cache database ?

Thanks ,

Manu

Hello Daniel,

Execute DB20 and then go to Space -> Single Table Analysis. Enter the schema and table name in section of Table and Index Details and then click Enter.

If the deviation (within section Statistics Data) is more than 15%, you should perform a RUNSTATS on this table. You can do this by choosing either of the following option: RUNSTATS in dialog or background (on the top of the screen).

Hello Daniel,

Sorry, you could not see the deviation part originally.

For the table you selected, please click Count and then you can see what you want:

Hi,

Thank you..I did the same.

I am seeing 0% deviation for a table for which the database statistics refresh didn't happen in /SAPAPO/OM_LC_UPGRADE_70...

Should I have run the statistics now..please suggest.

Thanks in advance

Hello Daniel,

If you are not sure about that, why not try to run?

Hi,

Should I run the statistics in dialog or background mode..which one would be advisable..

Thanks in advance

Hi Daniel,

Both are OK, provided that gathering the statistics does not consume lot of time.
