Hello
I am having a problem with 0calday master data.
How is this defined?
In the development system I can see that it is only contains values up to 01.02.2015.
How can I define this for future values as well.
I have an IP solution which opens up for time registration on every day. But since 01.02.2015 has passed it will not open up for entering data, since master
data is missing.
Where are these values maintained?
Thx for any input which can lead me to a fix of this urgent issue

Hi,
First lets check your data flow.
how the data exist at RSA3 source side, next at psa level, go on upto last target level.
You need to check data is exist after 02.02.2015 at dev system or not.
About 0calday - Check how you maintained master data?
if you have data flows to 0calday then you can load it. Other wise you can maintain by your at 0calday level. But as my guess these all dates/years must be maintained at end of december itself by FI team.
Just cross check at prod and compare with dev.

Hi,
The problem also occurs in prod system
But strangely enough it works in Q system.
The difference between the system seems to be the length of 0calday masterdata, which is used to derive 0calweek (as of my understanding).
There is no regular flow for loading master data i 0calday. (not the same as for e.g 0customer with attributes, hierarchy, text ).
Where can I check the time horisont for which 0calday is defined? I find it strange that it for prod it ends at week 09.2015, for dev it ends at 05.2015 and for q it ends at 09.2018.
There queries and flows in BW is in-sync for all 3 systems.
You mention FI team. Could this problem originate from R/3 source system?

Hi Lasse,
Please check with your FI team.
Ask them why we are having non sysnch about calday/year/month/week all Time chars data.
One more thing why your checking at reports?
First check your data targets holding which calday/years data. Based on that you can see data at reporting levels.
Even try to do Transfer global settings to to update time chars.
First try to do at dev and make them available upto dates.
RSA1-->source system-->right click-->transfer global settings.
You can google it about transfer global settings in bw. you may get useful pdf/step by step docs.
Thanks
Hi Raman
I talked to FI team, but no luck. Will try again Monday since on key person should be back.
I did the global settings transfer, but without any result sadly
When I look in the selection screen of the master data table /BI0/PCALWEEK I can see that it is only defined up to 05.2015 which fits the report output.
Is there a way to expand this ? And how is this derived?
Thx

Lasse
