GA Date for AOffice 2.0?

Hello. We are in the planning phase of deploying Analysis for Office and are determining whether to deploy version 1.4 or 2.0. Has anyone seen a release date for the 2.0 version for GA?

Hi Lynn,

You can check all rampup info at the http://service.sap.com/rampup.

There you will see that:

Key Data

• Targeted Release to customer: 25 November 2014
• Targeted Completion date Ramp-Up (GA date): May 2015
• Contact Persons: Petra Beenk (EMEA); Kimberley Chase (North & Latin America)
• Contact the Early Adoption Program Lead: Kimberley Chase

And as you are planning to deploy it I will also suggest you the SAP note 1518359 that contains all delivery dates.

We had reviewed message 1518359 and it shared the following dates below. With some of these dates listed for calendar year 2014 we were hopeful it might be in the very near future. We will anticipate a May release at this time. Thanks again for your assistance!

Did you check SAP marketplace for AAO2.0 setup? I think the 2.0 setup is already available there for download.. not sure though if its ramp up still..

Also there are user guides/admin guides available for AAO2.0 already at below link -

Hello. Yes, we did check the marketplace to see if it was available for download. Unfortunately it was not.

Yes, I have been reviewing the documentation for 2.0 that appears to have been published late December. Looking forward to the updates.

Hi Lynn - it is in ramp-up now, so the official response would be as soon as SAP meets their KPI's from ramp-up.

Usually we see GA announcements around the ASUG Annual Conference/SAPPHIRENOW timeframe which is early May this year.
