Hi sapman man,

Which text types shall be output (printed, included in the IDoc, etc.) is customizable. Please check in IMG for purchasing under Messages --> Texts for Messages --> Define Texts for Purchase Order --> Texts for Document Header.

Hi,

Please maintain relevant configuration in IMG, as the program which fills these segements (E1EDKT1, E1EDKT2) will look at tables T166K and T166A

SPRO-->MM-->Purchasing--->Messages--->Text for Messages--->Define Texts for Purchase order

Regards,

Vishnu.

Which IDOC do you actually test in WE19?

If the segments are missing then it might be a Z-version, a reduced IDOC.

Hi sapman man,

Have you checked Jürgen's question? Which IDoc type and message type are you testing? It can be a standard IDoc type but with reduced message type or a custom IDoc type that doesn't contain E1EDPT1 whatsoever.

Can you tell us the names of your IDoc type and message type?

Hi,

We have Created PO and Entered Header text (In Header of the PO) and,  Material Text copied from Material master to PO Item level texts.( See Below screen shots

After Save of PO , system Generated IDOC without these texts, How to get these texts in Idoc,

As we know these  (E1EDKT1,  E1EDKT2) segments not available in EDIDC, as per screen shot.  i,e the reason these text not Transferred through Outbound  Idoc.

PO Text are not possible to transfer through Idoc, How to transfer these Texts through idoc.

Thanks

Would you eventually like to explain what customizing you did there which was specific to the IDOC?

This is basic customizing for purchasing document texts and valid for any way of communication.

If you added an entry now then this text must have bin missing in normal PO print too.

Hi,

As per Rafael and Vishnu's explanation done the SPRO-->MM-->Purchasing--->Messages--->Text for Messages--->Define Texts for Purchase order.

so you are confirming that there is nothing specific for the IDOC, it is just your general text customizing which was missing and had never been on the paper before either.

Honestly I wonder that one starts with an automated IDOC processing before he even has a normal system in place.
