Hi Experts,
I have a need to halt all communication from SAP MII to SAP PI and SAP ECC for a specific period of time while changes are applied to upstream systems (i.e. during a cutover). All communication to these systems from SAP MII are routed through the SAP MII Data Buffer. Using SAP MII 14.
I believe that a solution to this problem is to temporarily disable the Data Buffer, so Entries would queue up unprocessed until the Data Buffer is re-enabled. I expect that I could do this simply by turning of the Data Buffer System Job, that I see runs every minute. I don't see how to do this. How do you disable Data Buffer Jobs?
Or, is there another best practice on halting communication upstream through the Data Buffer?
Thanks in advance,
Dave
On the data buffer management screen (Data Services --> Data Buffer ) there are 'Pause' and 'Resume' buttons but I do not know if this will pause the entire buffer or just specific entries.
Regards,
Christian
