using SPAM to apply patch took looooong time

Hi All,

I am working on apply a patch to my business suite on hana system. the patch I tried to apply is SAP_UI 74010(SAPK-74010INSAPUI), but it already took 20 hours, still not finished yet. /usr/sap/trans/log's last update is 20 hours ago, /usr/sap/trans/tmp has a file SAPI-74010INSAPUI.EC7 keep increasing. Anyway I can accelerate this import...? thanks.

this is a EhP 7 system on SuSE Linux, backend database is HANA(1.00.85.01.399276 (NewDB100_REL))

Hi,

If the log is not update anything under directories  "usr/sap/trans/log's"  . check for availability of BG process.

Check the BG jobs  "RDDNEWPP" as user DDIC in client 000.

check sapevt, R3trans and tp are to the latest.

Ensure you login into 000 cleint with DDIC user.

It finished in a loooong time, no idea why took so long(more than 72 hours for 5 patches).

I patch SAPK-74010INSAPUI an NetWeaver 740 , but cann't . here is detail:Error during executing the tp command 'tp GETOBJLIST SAPK-74010INSAPUI.

tp and R3trans is The latest version.
