Portal acts differently when used from different system.

Hi Guys,

I am getting a strange error in our portal. It acts differently when used from different computer.

For ex: I am trying to create a shopping cart with a test user. Now when I add the item to cart, in the next screen the cart gets updated and item appears in the list.

Now if I execute the same steps with same test user in my colleagues computer, the item is not getting updated in the cart. Instead it takes to first screen.

Please help me resolve this issue.

Nice to hear from you again.

I think Manu has hit the nail on the head.
The browser is the most likely culprit. Please check http://service.sap.com/pam and make sure that

you are using a supported browser only. If this is the case, then set the browser settings to "restore to default" and then check.
if the issue persists, we will need two httpwatch traces (one when the issue occurs ) and one when it works fine . So download the httpwatch tool (free from www.httpwatch.com) and send across the trace. Kindly note that the clicks are minimum when you take the trace and that you navigate to the error scenario and clear the browser cache before starting the "recording" activity (run this on server node 0, see SAP NOTE 1589567). Hi  Madhu,

Are you using the same version of the browser in both the systems .

Have you added the portal links to the trusted sites in both the systems
