SAP Netweaver Gateway Service Authentication

Hi ,

I have developed SAP Gateway Service which is invoked using SAP UI5 framework . For oData Service , it triggers authentication popup when accessed the service URL on browser.

I hope we can pass user credentials thru request , which is not a safe channel.

Basically , my service is Anonymous and can be accessible by every user.

Is there  any SAP Netweaver Gateway configuration to input default credentials for service path authentication?

Hi Ravi,

Did you find a solution for this? We have a similar requirement. The user credentials are maintained in SICF service itself. But still we get the authentication pop up. Even without entering any credentials in the pop up, still the pop up comes up which is annoying.

Hi Sharadha,

We have to provide user credentials on the root service nodes /sap/bc/bsp/ , /sap/opu/odata/ and /sap/bc/ui5_ui5/.
