BO Explorer or Dashboards

Hi All,

We have a requirement from client that they need dashboards to be viewed by top level management.Here are the few inputs from client

1)They need dashboards to be sit in their mail box. User dont want to login and see

2)This is one of the important requirement.

        There are 6 plants and they they want see the "Correlation" between 2 plants.To achieve this we need to provide selection options to the User.

Using which BO component(Explore or Xcelsius) we can achieve  this requirement. Also I have seen in some posts for Explorer source would be Universe not Bex Query and BWA is must . Please give me a clarity how far this is correct?

Request you to suggest me which component we need to go for.

Better thing would be to creat Dashboard on WebI and Publish it.

Hi,

  Regarding 1st one it depends on your requirement  if you can achieve in dashboards go with dashboards and we can burst dashboards also

but for Second one you can compare in BO Explorer.Its one good tool.

If your building on BEX queries then in BO 4.1 you can create universe in UDT and use that universe in explorer.
