Hi ,

I am trying to create new dimension in SAP PCM, I am trying to achieve  below scenario, please let me know if it is feasible from SAP PCM ; if yes then kindly let  me know the steps.

Here "Type" is acting as a cost object.

I want "Suppliers" also to be created in this way. is it possible ?

Thanks,

Subhayan

PCM has a fixed amount of dimensions, but offers up to 5 cost object dimensions you can use.

If your Cost Objects 3 dimension is empty (looks that way from the naming), you can just put the hierarchy in there.

If you then go to Model > Rename Dimensions, you can rename "Cost Objects 3" to "Suppliers"

Not sure what your problem is with that.
You have to create the hierarchy of course.

If your goal is to replicate the cost objects 2 attribute hierarchy in the main hierarchy of cost objects 3, you can do it manually or by other means... (databridge, import/export to xml, FIM, etc.)

Bear in mind the member names must be unique in the whole PCM model.

If you need to learn more, I suggest you take up contact with SAP Education office to follow the BOA340 classroom training on PCM modelling.
