Preventing user from sending data to a wrong environment

Hi EPM Experts,

We had a situation in our project where users were carrying out testing on our Quality environment. One user was logged into both Production and Quality EPM Excel at the same time.

On his Quality instance, he opened a workbook which he generally uses in Production. After opening the workbook, the connection automatically switched to Production. The user didn't notice the connection change and posted data using input template workbook to Production.

Business wants to prevent similar occurences in future. Request your inputs/suggestion on the same.

We are on EPM NW 10, EPM SP19.

Hi Vivek,

If you are created local connection set as default , delete default connection.
