Dear All,
OS: MS Windows 2008 R2
SAP ERP6.0 EhP-7
DB: SAP Sybase ASE 15.7
We are doing system copy, exported all the files from Source to Target.
When importing source exports at Target during system copy, we got an error at phase: Adjust Name Table.
Im using latest SWPM, upgraded kernel to latest, applied R3trans, R3load & db libraries, still error remain the same.
For your reference, please see below pic & attached the log files for further.
Please help me to resolve the issue ASAP.
Thanks & Regards
Ahsan
Hello Ebad,
There are cases in which the issue with this command is related to a problem on database.
Could you please run the command R3trans -d as <sid>adm user. Does it return code 0000? If not, can you please provide the trans.log file for further analysis?
Regards,
Henrique Girardi

Hi,
there seem to be problems with the host name as it is set to be: <HostName>
Also, in the command string executed by sapinst, the SID is: <SID>
(E:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS...) while it must of course have the actual SID in it (I suppose D00).
In addition to Henrique's request for the 'trans.log', could you please provide the
file 'summary.html' from the sapinst_instdir as well?
Cheers
Hendrik

Hi Ahsan,
E:\usr\sap\<SID>\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\dipgntab.exe -rwr40 -srctt DDNTT -srctf DDNTF -dsttt DDNTT -dsttf DDNTF -ttonly TT' exits with error code -1.
Try executing the above command manually, as mentioned in 162266 under Step: DIPGNTAB_NT.
Also, have a look at the similar thread.

pavan

Hello Ahsan
Just do the full system restart and then try again in the same phase.

Have you checked SAP KBA 2106205 - dipgntab failed with: ERROR in initialization (can't get R/3-version) & follow the main causes of the error you're getting here.
And please confirm is your source database export was successful without any issues during the process ?
Good luck !!
