Hi,
is there any roadmap for the integration of ERP's Advanced returns management functionality in C4C?
Like the integration in CRM on premise?
Thanks,
Borut

Hi, any news on that?

At the moment, there is no planned roadmap for a SD advanced returns management process.
However, we are planning on making the C4C APIs and ERP add-on as flexible as possible so any C4C and ERP integration scenario can be easily done in consulting.
At a high-level, we have been focused on making master data replication between C4C and ERP as out of box possible so that process/transaction integration is easy (without the master data, transaction integration becomes incredibly difficult).
In re to advanced returns management, this could be done today as a project solution using the C4C Ticket to ERP SD Order transaction/process integration scenarios that are available today, since the SD Advanced Return is nothing more than a specific transaction type of a SD Order.
See this post about the various C4C Ticket to SD order options...
That would be something you need to ask your ERP SD admin/consultant... From a C4C point of view we just output an outbound message of the C4C order header/lines. HCI receives it and maps it to an appropriate endpoint in ERP, in this use case a SD API. I am not an SD expert, but I recall if you set the SD order to Type RE it is a "standard return". Not sure how different that is from an "advanced return." Since OnPrem CRM has delivered an integration with SD for Advanced Returns, I would guess there are SD APIs available, but as you pointed out may not be the standard SD APIs.
