Subcontracting Challan status not updating for a particular Excise Group

Hello All,

I have an issue where in Subcontracting challan number is not generated as the challan statues has not updated from initial to posted (Checked in J1IFR). This is happening for only one Excise group.

I have checked following configuration.

- SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business Transactions > Subcontracting > Subcontracting Attributes

Here maintained following;

Excise Group              XX

Excise TT                   57FC

Subtransaction Type  01

Subtran Type Text    57FC CHALLAN

Subc. Period             180

Rate-subcontracting

Mvt Grp Issues          0001

Mvt Grp Receipt        0002

Filter Non exise         X

EI Items                     999

No. range no.             01

ACC. Val. /Exc Inv     A

Subcon Output Type  J1IF

- SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India > Business Transactions > Subcontracting > Maintain Movement Type Groups

Here maintained following

Kindly help me out to overcome this issue

Check whether you have maintained settings for this Excise Group for 57FC,57CM and 57NR for Subtransaction type 01.

- SPRO > Logistics - General > Tax on Goods Movements > India >Account Determination >Specify G/L Accounts per Excise Transaction

Also check in SNRO whether you have maintained number range for object J_1I57FC for the particular series group for that Excise group.

Settings for this Excise Group for 57FC,57CM and 57NR with Subtransaction type 01 has already been maintained

Number range for object J_1I57FC in SNRO is already maintained.

Do you see an entry in J1IFR(post screenshot) and table J_1Iexcdtl.

Yes i see an entry in J1IFR with status as intial and in Table J_1Iexcdtl.

Can you share the screenshot of SNRO- J_1I57FC

Also check this note

I have attached SNRO screen shot and if the output J1IFR is wrong, but still when i create a challan Doc number is not generating. Also if i select a line in J1IFR, go inside the doc i dont see the status nor the doc number.

Check whether a number range for 2014 also exists. If not maintain and then delete this challan and create a new one.

I checked, Number range for 2014 also exists. But not used.

Can you check by creating a new challan and see if the same issue exists. If the same issue is repeated then consult with the technical team, debug and analyse why this is happening for only a particular Excise group. I dont see any issue with your config as far shared.

Make sure that no custom development is coming your way.

hi,

check your plant setting in ...

-> Tax on Goods Movemnt->India -> Basic setting-> Maintain plant setting.

sometimes this need to update in client & which is open field.
