wbs status REL ACPT SETC

Hi All,

we have some WBS's with 2 different status:-

REL ACPT SETC

REL SETC

We are not sure why these 2 different status are coming in different wbs.

Please advise what may be the reason for this.

Each WBS can have its own status. For most statusses, it is not really synchronized or it has some logic.

The ACPT means that the order is accepted, or in other words that a sales order is assigned to the WBS. Most likely, the other WBS does not have a sales order assigned.

If you want a more detailed anwser, you should provide some more info. For example: Is this a resource related billing situation, or is it an assembly project (project to order) process? Are both WBS elements set as billing element?

I checked, both WBS having different status are set as billing element.

I could not understand how to justify to business the reason of different status.

Please advise.
