I want to use some customization to provide some validations before a contract is created, a disconnection order is generated etc. For this, I was looking for a field to use wherein I will provide the criteria. Looking at the name, I felt Installation type (ANLART) would be the best field to use.
My question is that what is this field currently used for? Is there any significance of this field? I read the short text about this field and it says "To analyze this classification, you require your own report". As per my understanding, it means that we can use this field as per our convenience, there is no code in standard SAP which actually uses this code. Am I right?
