Hi,

I have just completed the installation of Information Platform Services 4.1 SP5, Data Services 4.2 SP4, and Information Steward 4.2 SP5

Need some guidance on activating the central repository, which is defined in the CMC as follows

User Security within the CMC defined as follows

Advanced Options

On the Data Services Console, there is no entry for the Users

When activating the central repository in Data Services Designer I get the following errors

Ideas and suggestions appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

David Cooper

Hi David,

Go to Data Service repository manager and create repository.

SAP Note 1605247 “how to configure a Data Services repository”:

1. Create one Database Schema in MS SQL

2. Create user and give required authorization as per guide

3. Create ODBC connection

4. Create Data Service Repository in Data Service repository Manager Tool

5. Connect to Repository in CMC

for reference- here HANA DB is instead of your MS SQL
