Where is the SAP Netweaver 7.4 app server start script?

I am trying to plugin the app dynamics to my newly migrated application from SAP Netweaver 7.1 to Netweaver 7.4. To install its Java agent, I need the SAP netweaver server start script file location

I see that there is sapservices in /usr/sap folder in my Linux SUSE. Along with sapservices file there are two more files

sapservices.1

sapservices.2

What is the actual server start up script among the three?

Hi Sr,

Hope you are doing Good.

If you want to install any agent to the system, then you need to mention the particular profile in

/usr/sap/services,

what a SAP start script will do , it will pick up your correct profile from that directory and try to startup .

Thanks

Hi,

I think this guide explains how the startup scripts work:

SAP Start Service - SAP NetWeaver Library: Function-Oriented View - SAP Library
