0HR_PY_REC_51 selection issue

Hi,

Extractor 0HR_PY_REC_51 is not taking the selection value.

It has selection as below:

BIWMONTH     <Range>          Calendar Year/Month

PERNR            <Range>          Personnel Number

I want to see the data for April 2013 to March 2014. For that I tried with below different selection parameter:

1) 201304 to 201403

2) 04.2013 to 03.2014

3) 042013 to 032014

But it brings data from beginning since system setup.

Same thing is happening when I am trying to pull the data from Infopackage. It brings whole data.

Please advice how should I enter the selection value to get the required data.

Thanks and Regards,

Niranjan

Hi,

Mean above note indicates some of the bi content data source not supported by SAP.

If possible please look at data source 0HR_PY_1. if it suits then you can use it.

To do HR Data source extractions we need related authorizations as well.

Thanks

Hi Raman,

0HR_PY_1 is not fulfilling my requirement.

Could you please tell me which authorizations we require for HR Data sources.

Thanks and Regards,

Niranjan

Hi Raman,

I have tried to extract with SAP ALL Access but still it is not taking the selection value. Instead it is fetching all records.

One more thing I observed that data source is considering for PERNR (Employee) selection but it is not considering the month selection.

Any inputs?

Niranjan

Hi,

Ask your HR team whether they maintained properly pay roll data to bw month?

if not then ask them to do or reset it.

Later check about roles -  P_BAS_ALL

Thanks

Hi Raman,

I have the requirement to use the same extractor - 0HR_PY_REC_51 to read data from Payroll results table. I am not able to open the note that you mentioned: 929197. It says "Document is not released".

Would you please add any additional info if you have?

Or would you please guide how to extract data from payroll results?

Thanks a lot,

Ramana

Niranjan,

Have you moved this extractor to Production environment? Have you seen any issue around it? I need to extract the data from Payroll Results table so I need this extractor.

Would you please share your thoughts?

Thanks,
ramana

Hi Ramana,

I have used extractor 0HR_PY_REC_61 to get the payroll result. Since 0HR_PY_REC_51 is obsolete now.

The standard DSO to be used is 0PY_DS61. I am sure it will fulfill all your requirement.

Assign points if you find it useful.

Hi Niranjan,

Thank you so much for the information but when I try to activate the datasource, I am getting below error message:

DataSource 0HR_PY_REC_61; switch to package BWPY_RECON_EXT is off

Message no. R8371

But the package is BWPY_RECON_EXT there in SE80.

Any inputs for me?

Thanks a lot again,

Ramana

Hi Ramana,

Ask your functional team and check it.

whether they activated required business functions at SFW5? if not then ask them to activate related business functions.

check about business function HCM_LOC_CI_18.

Later try to install data source.

Thanks.

Hi Niranjan,

Just one more question I have if you can help me:

by activating the business function HCM_LOC_CI_18, would there be any impact on the existing time and payroll functionality.

Thanks again,

Ramana
