Hello experts,

We have copied the ECC clients from production to Quality.

Earlier Portal was working fine (Without Pop Up)

But now after client copy, system is proposing pop up window when Web dynpro page is clicked and it is asking for client. This pop up should not appear.

What has to be done to solve this.

This is urgent. Plz help.

I have changed the client number(200 to 300) and logical system for RQ1 and RQ1_NEW system alias in portal(System Admin->System Configuration->System Landscape).

Hi Muthu,

Not valid certificates ?

Sometimes there are client copy may remove your certicate and replacing the owner certificate from the copied client. Run transaction STRUSTSSO2 and choose Replace on the System PSE, and then export it to the Portal

Thanks for reply..

We are facing sld register problem in portal 7.0. dev_jrfc.trc file is created frequently. The problem is  registration of tp SLD_UC from hostname not allowed. In portal create & maintain JCO Destination, start assigned SLD links are disabled.

Hi muthuraja,

Hope you are doing good.

Nice to hear from you again.

This issue is simple; the J2ee is not connected to SLD.

Navigate to Visual administrator -> SLD Data Supplier ->

a) tab "HTTP Settings":

URL and user/password must be correct and user must have J2EE security

role "DataSupplierLD" on the SLD.

b) tab "CIM Client Generation Settings":

URL and user/password must be correct and user must have J2EE security

role "LcrInstanceWriterLD".

and then retrigger the SLD data again.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

After the client copy, have you configured SSO again ? The ECC system now will have your production portal certificate. The test/quality portal certificate has to be imported again to ECC.
