RSD1 Maintain Master Data not popping up

Hi

We are in the process of upgrading to BW 7.40 SP9.

One of the new features is the master data maintenance that now happens in a WebDynpro application popped up in an external browser from transaction RSD1.

The service was inactive at first, but after activating in SICF, I was able to get the popup screen to appear and maintain the data.

However, for 1 of my colleagues, the popup doesn't appear.

She is running the same SAP GUI (730) as me.

She gets the status message at the bottom of the screen saying "Master data maintenance is opened in a new window", but no browser windows popup.

Is there a SAP GUI popup blocker setting somewhere that we need to disable ?

Anything else that we can check for on her machine ?

Solution to this problem was to upgrade the patch level of the offending PC's SAP GUI.

Hi,

Check If she is having access to it.

Hit the Tcode RSD1 & then immediately hit Tcode - /nSU53

This screen will display If any failed authorization is there.

If yes, Contact security team to assign required authroization.

Sorry, meant to include in my post that I have logged into SAP on her machine, and the same behaviour is displayed, ie. the popup doesn't appear.

I don't believe, therefore, that it is auths related.
