0employee master data analysis

Hi,

Scenario: I want to analyze the master data of 0EMPLOYEE. (Fields: Emp no, calendar year, sub group, anual salary). Basically I wan t to analyze any employee's career growth.

When I check the attribute data of 0EMPLOYEE through master data tab, for 1 employee it shows 8 records which is correct. (I want the exact data into my report as it is showing into attribute)

Issue: When I check the data using context menu of 0EMPLOYEE, it shows only 1 data record instead of 8.

Please excuse if my question is very silly.

Please try to explain in detail.

Hi,

Take Employee id cross check at source table with help of HR team.

Later check at RSA3 source side, BW PSA level and target level.

As my guess particular employee changes might be recorded as 8 records.

you can cross those 8 records  Fromdate and todate values. it might be different.

Some of his roles/salary/some thing might be changed.

Hi Raman,

I have taken 1 employee number and checked in ECC in PA0008 table and found 8 records.

in RSA3 --> 0EMPLOYEE_ATTR --> 8 records

in BI --> PSA --> 8 records

In Master data tab --> Attribute data --> 8 records

but when I check from context menu --> display data it shows only 1 record. It is not taking the period on which the salary got changed.

Hi,

check the primary keys for the master data. -> it will give the vlaues based on the primary keys

have you perfomed the attr/hier change run for the object.

go to the RSA1 -> go to tools menu -> select attr/hier change run -> select the master data -> execute it.

now come to master data check the particular employee.

I checked in the attribute transformation, it is having 2 keys Employee and Date to..I think if it would have been employee, DateFrom and DateTo then it may give proper result. But can we change the keys of the info object. If yes, how to change the keys?

And I ran the attribute change run already.

While displaying data, ahve you used same employee number? lets use and get the results.

Seems like there is no issue. You might not looking what you need.

No, Seems like some thing wrong at your screen shot.

Which you shared is not similar as well.

Cross check your master data.

it need to show 8 records.  Have you ran attribute change run?

At which server your checking? prod or dev?

Can you share same change lay out screens from attributes and 0employee data.
