Hi MM/PP colleagues !

Can you help me ?

I have some quantity in our Vendor.

How is the relation between Coverage and quantity in my stock ( inside in my warehouse)?

The Coverage considers this quantity outside?

I have no quantity in my stock but I have some quantity outside. The Coverage says 17 days. If I do not have enough quantity in my stock how the system says 17 days ?

You need to activate the Forecasting view in material master, and, if you do not use SAP, enter historical data.  Then you execute forecast.

For dynamic safety stock, it will use future demand to calculate average daily use.  Multiply average daily use to target stock and suggest additional qty in planned order if the net requirement below minimum stock level (all automatically, parameters contain in coverage profile).
