Hi all,

I've used the com.sap.ip.bi.rig.Scrolling functionality in Web Apps Designer, this is used to enable scrolling functionality within my Queries based on Query Designer, accessible via our portal.

One issue I faced and was hoping you've come across this before and might know the answer:

One of my queries only has Rows (it has no columns or Key Figures), when applying the scrolling solution, it doesn't appear to work.  My expectation is that the row headings (characteristic headings) will become fixed so that they are always visible, however, when I scroll down I lose the headings.

Do you have any ideas for me to try?

Kind regards,
Ross

Hi Ross,

To freeze or rows you need some parameter entries. There is a great document which I have bookmarked:

Take a look at freezing rows/columns section under scrolling. explains that very well.

Hope it gives an idea.

My first recommendation is, check you BI Java patches. Confirm if the patches are on latest available. Generally the patches solve the issue.
You can refer the SAP Note 1899396 - Patch Level 0 for BI Java Installation - Detailed Information

This note mandatory for all BI Java issues.
