Hi all,
I have two tables in main window of my smartform.
If i fill data in one table , then output is coming, but if data is filled in both tables, then output is not coming.
It is not going to print preview itself in that case although there is enough space in main window.
Do i have to use any condition to display data of both the tables in main window?
Thanks,
Malvi Aggarwal

Hi Malvi,
I hope the problem maybe due to the long text.
Kindly check whether you used any long text in the smartform table. If so, increase the width of the column. Hope you can get the output.

Hi Rajkumar,
Thanks for the reply.
I have already given the width of table as that of the main window which is maximum width i can give on the page.
Any other solution please.
Regards,
Malvi

Check the dimensions of your second table, It may exceeds the main window size,So you may not get preview. Also check the exception getting after your smartform call execution. In exception you will get some clue to fix it.

Hi Singaravel,
My smartform is not showing any exception after i execute it.
Its going to window for selecting printer and then for selecting output type.
Not even going to print preview.
But if i fill only one table in main window, then print preview is coming fine.
Thanks,
Malvi

Hi,
I think problem due to in space. What i understand is if u give only 1st table entry it print, if u give only 2nd table entry it print, and if u give both 1st table entry and 2nd table entry it print only 1st only.
Then page no move to next page so , once make page1's next page 1 or 2nd page as main window extension.

Hi Swadhin,
If i fill only one table in main window, then output is coming. But if i fill both windows, then output is not at all coming. Its not going to print preview..just rotating from 'Select Shop Papers' window to 'Print' window.
Thanks,
Malvi

This issue is because of space.. give some space between two tables and restrict the data to some length so that it will print both the tables..
data from one table overlapping to another table..

Hi Kunal,
How can i give space between two tables??
Shall i create a template between them and leave it blank or what?
Thanks,
Malvi

either you can create two different windows and place your tables into them or you can use table alignment.. give first table horizontal alignment as left and second table's horizontal alignment as right..
suppose total width of smart form is 16 cm then give first table width as 7 cm and second tables width as 8 cm.. so there will be 1cm gap between them..
please check..

Click on details
give horizontal alignment
for second table give it as right..

Kunal,
I have to create both tables in main window so that they can overflow to next page, so cant put them in different windows.
Second thing, I have to place both tables vertically, not horizontally. So how can i put gap between them in that case.
Thanks,
Malvi

Hi Malvi,
You can add a single line table in between these two tables as a separator, but the issue is with table width you can restrict your data by giving &ur_variable(10)& so it will not overflow.. this is for string.. other operations are also there if you have other data types.. liek (C) etc etc...
