Issue with alignment while printing

Former Member

Hello,

We are facing issues with object alignment while printing the report. We have field objects in report which are not vertically aligned at same position as displayed in rpt preview. These objects are shifting upwards in print.

We have observed a funny behavior too. If I export the report in pdf format, then it has got alignment issues but I export report in .doc format then everything is fine.

I have upgraded to Support Pack 13(v.13.0.13.1597) but still issue persists.

Can anybody guide me what's going on??

Visual Studio 2012

.Net Framework 4.0 used

CR version:

Support Pack 13(v.13.0.13.1597)

Thanks in advance if anybody can help me here.

Saurabh

Hi Saraubh,

Try using a constant width font and compare. It also may depend on the printer you are using. If no printer then CR uses USP10.dll as the printer driver ( Display Only ).

Then search SCN for a PDF on how to format Crystal Reports for exporting. May help also.

Thanks Don for looking into the issue. I checked the suggestions but they made no difference.

Any other direction which I should opt?

Thanks

What printer are you using and are you setting it to that printer in code?

Have you tried setting that printer in CR Designer and saving the report and then printing through your app?

Do not use No Printer and check on Dissociate.
