Hi Experts
I would like to push the client side SCEP certificate on Android devices and use it for Wifi authentication.
Regards
HI Batish,
What Android device do you have?
If you create a configuration policy for Android in Afaria 7 Service Pack 5, there are several options.
For example, if you have a Samsung SAFE device (Android 4.x and above), and you navigate to WiFi Policy and then add Network Connection Settings, you'll see several parameters including CA certificate, Client certificate and SCEP request
In particular, these parameters are greyed out and can be enabled only selecting EAP as network link security. The CA certificate is used to authenticate the connection by the router while the client certificate is used by the client to authenticate the connection. Finally, the SCEP request works selecting the CA profile you have created in Afaria Administrator console and when the configuration policy is applied to your device, Afaria requests a certificate from your CA and sends it to the device.
Thank you
