In our system we have number of materials which are falling under MTO (sales order) scenario, but if WH creates STO for same material then it becomes MTS scenario for Stock transfer order.

WH plans STO for 6 months or sometimes 12 to 15 months in advance. So if you go in MD04 for the material system display MRP element of STO first and then MTO eventhough they are sorted with "Date".

In below MD04 screen you can see system display June/2016 STO element before today's sales order. These list is already sorted by date but still STO comes before SO.

Do you know why or is there way to sort all with 'date'? So we user doesn't required to go to down to see sales order in MD04 screen.

Reply appreciated.

Hello Eric

Tha sales order stock is a special stock segment and, by default, it is always displayed at the end of the list, that means, after all the MRP elements on the plant stock segment.

You can define if the sales order stocks are sorted by date or by sales order number, however, they will be always at the end of the list.

Hello Eric,

As suggested by an expert Caetano, it's standard SAP behavior, you can refer consulting note,

499562 - MD04/MD05: Sorting of the individual segments.

Apart from that you can sort by using individual segment.

Individual segments are sorted by date.
