Leave requset status report

How Can I check the absence entries which are posted from ESS. Workflow is showing completed but is not updated in the IT 2001 and 2002.Please suggest me any report.

Hi Vasu, If workflow is completed,then the approved attendances and absence should be saved respectively in IT 2002 and IT 2001 in SAP R/3.There is a standard ABAP report ‘RPTARQERR’ will help you to get the list of data records with errors.You can analyse the error to process them again. The reasons for not saving data record in IT 2001, due to: 1. The absence was already created by someone else. 2. The absence overlaps other time data records that were already entered. 3. The employee has insufficient remaining entitlement to be able to take the absence. This program is intended for error handling leave requests of a relatively small number of employees. You can therefore restrict the number of data records to be evaluated according to organizational criteria. If you want to evaluate more than 50 employees, you can use the RPTARQERR_ALL report, which you can access by choosing the Evaluation over All Data Records button on the report selection screen. Standard Practice 1 is - use a BATCH user id with all authorizations to run batch jobs and update data in batch. This BATCH user ID will not be a DIALOG user id, hence no one will be able to log in using this id and misuse it. Disucss with Basis admin for threshing out the details.

Standard practise 2 - for RPTARPOST - schedule it with much greater frequency. This ensures that leave requests are posted almost as soon as they are approved.

Standard Practise 3 - On selection screen of RPTARQPOST there is a check box "Post with Infotype Match"... this will ensure that requests which errored out will be reconsidered in subsequent runs.

Program RPTARQPOST is used to post the approved leave requests from ESS to ECC IT2001. You can check if this program is successfully running on your production environment.
