BW-IP: Input Ready Query MasterData Check/Validation during Save

Hello,

i have  a question regarding my input ready query.

in my input ready query the user is able to input some characteristics. after he inputs the values the user saves the data. during this time the sap standard solution is checking the entered data for correctness. for example: if the entered data is in the master data.

if the entered characteristic data is wrong the system shows following message:

" There is no characteristic value 'XYZ' for characteristic ...."

" Entered values are incorrect; correct before  navigation"

now my question:

is there somewhere a possibility to disable the check?

Hi,

no, you cannot disable the check if the characteristic has a master data table (cf. transaction RSD1). If the characteristic has no master data table there is no check.
