Hi PP guys,
My client requirement to full settlement production orders, accordingly I configured in OPL8 "order type dependent parameter" PP2 default rule in controlling tab, now for some material (semi finished) when I create order it is taking PP1 (fully) and for some material PP2 (periodic) settlement. all required setting ok, but I doubt about "over head group" differ material to material in material master. some body tell why it is taking for some material PP1 and for some material PP2. I guess there is some setting in material master and controlling but not found perfect.
Please provide correct solution with thanks in advance.
its urgent.
regards,
Amit Awasthi.
Dear Amit,
The settlement profile is picked up based on the settings maintained in the order type dependent parameters (OPL8).
Selection of order type is based on one of the below methods:
1.In material master, work scheduling view the prod scheduling profile is assigned. Based on the prod scheduling profile the order type is picked (OPKP).
2. Based on the prod scheduling profile assigned to the production scheduler (OPJ9)
3. Based on plant parameters (OPPQ)
4. Based on the MRP group OPPR)
PP2 (periodic settlement) is normally maintained for joint production Eg: Co-products. Do you have co-product scenario for some materials ?
For full settlement use PP1.

Hi senthil,
thanks for reply, actually client don't have co-product material, but BOM level by level maintained.
I configured PP1 fully in OPL8 not PP2 (by mistake wrote PP2), but still I am able to settlement order fully in K088, is this sufficient in term of order settlement ? there is no any production order profile / scheduler maintained in material master "work scheduling " screen also.

Amit Awasthi.
