Requirment: Number Ranges based on Action Type in SAP HR

Hi Experts,

We wish to assign number ranges based on Action Type for our requirement. Example: 9 series number range for Hiring and 8 series number range for Rehire, 7 series for Terminations.

Is this possible, if yes, kindly advice a solution.

Hi as per the NUMKR feature strucutre, you can query only on without any customizing:

BUKRS	Company Code
WERKS	Personnel Area
PERSG	Employee Group
PERSK	Employee Subgroup
MOLGA	Country Grouping

Notes:

Re Hire -> You use the existing pernr, and perform the action -> so number range is not applicable here.

Separations ->  You perform the separation action also on the existing pernr.
