Not able to save crystal report 2013 to BW from local file (SAP GUI 7.30)

Hi,

I receive this error:

COM exception caught in CExtToolBar::UploadFromLocalFile().

HR = 0x8004005

I only found 2 older records for this error:

they recommend the installation of BEx 3.5 to use SAP Toolbar functionality.

But we are already on SAP GUI 7.30 AND BEx 3.x is out of standard support maintenance since April 2013.

My configuration:

Crystal report 2013 SP5

SAP BW 7.31

BI Components    7.30 Patch 601

SAP GUI             730 Patch 9

Any idea?

i just found the answer:

the PAM for Crystal Reports 2013 does not list SAP GUI 730 as supported.

i'm speechless
