Asset synchronization with piece of equipment

Hi, there.

I have AA-PM(EAM) synchronization activated. However, when I change the asset master record, some information must update custom fields(Z) in equipment master record. To do that, I am intending to use enhancement AAPM0001.

My question is: what is the correct method to update custom fields through this enhancement, calling other function module or some direct update in table EQUI, custom fields(Z)?

Appreciate your guidance.

Hi,

If your custom fields are appended in ITOB your requirement can be quite achievable. Please get some help from abaper.

The standard master fields in asset and equipment master can be integrated in below menu path,

Financial Accounting > Asset Accounting > Master data > Automatic creation of equipment master records > Assign Master Data fields of Asset and Equipment
