Hi Jessica,

With reference to TM04 schema (TM w/o clock time), there are two main criteria for data flow from TM to PY.

First is ZL table which plays crucial role for final payroll calculation. this table is the interface between TM and PY.

Another point TMSTA must be 9 in IT0007.

When we run RPTIME00 then under "Select time wage type" segment, function GWT creates table DZL for overtime further with the aid of function CUMBT, table data DZL stores in ZL table. This very ZL table called by function ZLIT in PY. final pay calculation is done here.

In addition to this IT2010 is also another component thru which data can move directly to PY. With the help this info-type we can recrods OT, Premiums etc.

Trust this info will help you.

Amit

Hi Jessica In addition to Siva, SAP system would identify the number of hours of employee from IT 0007-Planned working time and  default same no. of  hours IT 0008-Basic Pay and it would reduce no of hours in case if employee is part time employee  using  employment percentage, hence there is direct link between time and payroll. Suppose if an employee joined in the middle of payroll period,he would receive salary only for the number of days employee worked,it it based on  start date in IT 0001-Org assignment and the same start date will be defaulted for  IT 0007-Planned working  time and  IT 0008-Basic pay.Exact amount will be calculated based partial period factors(xppf) in payroll. Incase if employee do not have sufficient leave balance,he would use Loss of pay(lop) leave, and accordingly salary will be deducted in payroll based on the number of days LOP. If employee is having any unused leaves,he/she can apply for leave encashment(IT 0416) in payroll. If emp work for overtime(OT),OT hours can be maintained IT 2002-Attendances and emp receive salary for OT in payroll. Hope this would clarify your query. Thanks

Table ZL will work as a interface to connect the Time and Payroll.

Hi Jessica ,

Best scenarios are over time / vacation buy back .

The above scenarios are related to time mgt and configured in time end and includes configuration, custom PCRs and changes in time schema , Run the time evaluation by using PT60.

Now come to integration part - I will take one example here , Overtime - time management calculates only hours not a payment calculation, Employee works normal working hours ( 8 hours per day), if employee works extra that means 3 hours extra in a day , these hours are  goes to payroll for further calculation.

Normal working hours = 8 hrs

Extra over time hours  = 3 hours -- for this you will get a wage type from payroll team or you have to configure in OH11 or PU30 (copy the module wage types to custom wage type) and maintain settings in V_512w_B table .

Setup the settings in T510S table and use the operation ADDZL<wagetype> in your custom rule.

This time hours are stored in wage type , payroll consultant write a custom pcr in payroll side like Num*per hour = total amount will saved in another wage type.

You need to check in XT00 schema in payroll log .

Thanks
