Hi,
I scheduled a report and export it to PDF.
If no data, the report will print out / save the PDF using the document template.
Is there a way or technique where I can stop printing or saving the PDF report when there's no data ?
Thanks ...

An old trick was to insert a macro within the report.
If the set of results returned 0 rows, you woul trigger an error and the report would fail

Hi Ku
Instead of using BO report scheduler ,i can suggest you can create one Excel main file with Macros that open the BO report and refresh it and save in Excel format.
Now how this technique helps you to prevent from printing empty Report, for that you can use macro for comparing the size,or by calculate the last value row of output Excel file.you can schedule the Excel main file by task scheduler (Windows property).
Thanks
Sanjay
