ECC to BI integration

Hi,

At present we are using SAP – ECC6 – EHP4 with OS HP Unix 11v3 and Data Base DB2  . We need to implement BI and BO and we are planning to install BI ( nw 74) and BO ( 4.1 ) on Window's server .

Could you please let us know is there any compatibility issue for integrating ECC to BI , BO

    Keep in-mind that since SAP purchased BusinessObjects the support for SAP ECC / BW will be much better than in the past.  BusinessObjects now follows the same support cycle as SAP.  You will NOT have any issues with ECC / BW support, see below.

Advise your basis guys to read PAM.

Database and OS differences normally don't give problems as long as they are supported by SAP.

Your ECC runs on SAP so that cannot be the problem.
AS long as you run BW and BO on OS and DB supported this will be OK.

Don't have to be exactly the same versions.
