Hi Gurus
We have recently upgraded from ECC6 to EHP6. On going thru various documents, and on continuous improvement in the EAM space, I came across transaction code SFW5 . What exactly this transaction does, I tried this Transaction - which says switch framework - change business function status and with a security information. Suppose if I change, the business function status - can I revert back and also what happens continue with

Greetings Vidhyadharan,
The Switch Framework is the way in which SAP provides new functionalities, introduced by the EHP pack. You activate these functions (with the aid of the BASIS team) to enable new functionalities, such as continous improvement, time zone management, subcontracting etc. in the EAM space.
You can find the documentation for each business function under the relevant "blue i" icon in SFW5.
Most of the functions can't be deactivated once they are switched on (the ones with the lightbulb icon). Some functions are marked as reversible (with arrows icon) and these may be reversed at any time (but certain conditions might need to be filled)
