SF EC: how to trigger a workflow when an employee change his private email

Hi,

Is it possible to trigger a workflow when an employee change his private email address.

The portlet "contact information" is not supported in the standard workflow data model.

But is it possible creating a business rule for this?

If so please direct me how.

Hi Roel,

It is not possible on Email Information HRIS element right now. When the rules engine is used for Workflows this should be possible, although I cannot guarantee it right now.

I haven't worked with success factors, but if an infotype (0105-0010 I assume) is updated in the background you can use Event Creation - Embedded Processes (SAP Business Workflow) - SAP Library (transactions SWEHR1/2/3) to raise an event and trigger a workflow.
