Configuration Portal - SRM.

Friends,

need a support. We are deploying Portal along with SRM. Netweaver release 740, SRM release 713. However, I am new to EP. The RFC connections are correct, now need to configure the portal layout. Image home page, color the internal menu.

Could indicate me how I can make these layout settings?

Or the easier option would be

1. To save the hassle of deploying a new app using Ecliplse, you can either save your images in KM (not really recommended as this means, you need to set anonymous access and KM resource on logon page is not best practice)

or

2. You may create a folder in your Portal directory e.g. under /sapmnt/SID/global/... for UNIX or drive:/usr/sap/SID/SYS/global in Windows. Save your folder in there

e.g. /sapmnt/SID/global/web/logon/logonimage.jpg

Open /nwa, open Java HTTP provider configurations (Virtual Hosts), in the Aliases tab, create a new alias e.g.

Name = logon

Path = /sapmnt/SID/global/web/logon

3. Change the Authentication properties to reflect new branding image location

In /nwa

Authentication->security->Authentication and Single Sign-on, click Properties link

Update the (ume.logon.branding_image) property to = /logon/logonimage.jpg

thanks for return. I'm checking the links. But, my need is to exchange portal theme, setting the url, and the image of the homepage.

I can not access this link reported in the image.

In my organization we customize these portal things using jsp. for 7.0 .par, 7.3 war file, made changes and deployed in portal.so u have to try to do customize the login page.
