Closing work orders for PR Archiving

Hi every one,

We are having difficulty to archive some PRs related to some open  work orders(which are not done business completion), I tried to do business completion in IW38 for 10 work orders, again we are not able to do archiving for those PRs Related to those work orders, Can any one help me regarding this how to close work orders completely.

Hi,

You will need to archive the orders via object PM_ORDER.

Should there still be a problem-

If you have ECC6 or later you need to check for a implementation of BADI ME_ARCHIVE_ACTIVE.

Hi paul,

Thank you for your quick response, I have 800 work orders which need to be business completed, Can you please let me know is there is any procedure to do business completion for those 800  work orders.

Hi,

If the orders are technically completed you can use transaction CO99 to perform the business complete. Residence time (in days) is specified on the CO99 input screen. It ensures that orders will not be closed until this time has elapsed since the order reference date.

Alternatively transaction IW38 could be used. Select the required orders then choose menu option:
   Order - Completion - Business complete
Maybe do this in batches of 50-100 orders.
