Payment Request Clearing with Zero Balance

Hi Expert,

We are using Payment Request (F111) to clear amount from payment request account to bank clearing account. If the payment request total amount is zero, system is offset payment request account by itself (DR Payment Request and CR Payment Request) instead of posting one sited entry to bank clearing account.

For example, there is one purchase with 1,000,000 and one sales with 1,000,000 and cause the total F111 is zero, system is offset Payment request account to itself. We need same amount still post to bank clearing (DR Payment Request and CR Bank Outgoing Clearing for purchase transaction, DR Bank Incoming clearing and CR Payment Request for sales transaction).

Anyway can we have payment request always offset to bank clearing account ?

Thank you,

Oscar

Hi,

System is trying to net off the payment.

In the deal, when you create the payment, if you want individual payments, click on the create individual payment check box in the payment details so that it doenst net off the payment.

Dear Ravi,

Thank you for your reply. We cannot set "Individual payments" as we have other flows with charges in the transaction. If we set the Individual Payment option, other flows will be individually posted to bank clearing account and caused problem in bank reconciliation.

Thanks,

Hi,

Try putting individual payment only for this flow type.  If thats also not feasible, run F111 separately for this payment request alone.

Hi Ravi,

Thank you for your suggestion. We are currently running payment request separately if this scenario happen. As our payment request run process is auto posting and update, we always need to reverse posted transaction and rerun and also bank reconciliation cannot match correctly. If there is a direct solution to this it will be great. Thank you.

BR,

Oscar.
