Sales Returns Without Cost

Dear Experts,

   I am using SAP 8.82 PL 12 and would like to do a sales return document and influence the cost of the product being returned in that it should not have a cost. How can this be achieved in this version ?

You mean to say when you deliver goods cost are there. but when you return there is no cost?

  I do not want to return the goods with a cost. I want to return them at zero cost. Delivery is ok as it is which is at the cost value.

Hi Martin,

There is no option. Even When you return cost with 0 price system will take inventory back with value.

your finish product debit and your cogs credit with stock value.

I agree with you Chintan, There is no solution for this. The solution for is found in SAP v9.0. Seems like for 8.8 a goods receipt at 0 cost is the only work around.

If that's the case, then you can create a return document then put 0 as unit price.
