Hello experts,
The filter is not getting applied in the visualization room, the following error appears.(Lumira1.22)
No data matches your filter error appears.
The data is coming from a virtual table and the models have created based on the virtual table. The calc view shows data, and even the preparation room has data, but when I apply filter on the data in the visualize tab the error is shown.
Can anyone please assist.
Thanks & Regards,
Priya

When we create a visualization and then apply filter on any of the dimensions , it doesn’t display data.
It says “No data matched for your filters” , even though there is data in it matching the filter condition.
The issue is reproducible only for the views built on virtual tables using HANA smart data access.
LUM file cannot be attached here. Please assist.
We upgraded to LUMIRA1.23 there also the issue persists.
Thanks & Regards,
Priya
Hi,
I still have a question in mind: is this HANA Online mode, or Download from HANA ?
secondly, please also add a screenshot showing where and how the filter is applied.
Next steps - I would strongly recommend that you contact Product Support through the official channgel . http://support.sap.com/incident
Regards,
H
Hi Henry,
Thank you for your Information!
The data is coming via HANA online mode from a virtual table.
Before applying any filters:
After the filter is applied it says "no data matched your filter":
The issue persists even after upgrading to version 1.23 .
Please let us know if you need any other information.
Thanks and Regards,
Ramalingam.
Hi Priya,
please note that Boris was responding to you on a best-endeavor basis, but please be aware - there is no guaranteed commitment or service level here.
I need to confirm again : the correct mechanism for support investigations & bug-fixing is via technical support (URL Report an Incident | SAP Support Portal😞 Boris' development team is properly accessible down-stream of the incident message process!
Thank you
H
Hi Priya
this 1570042559 is an internal ticket - it's been logged by Deepa with you chiming in recently.
So I need to ask - are you actually an SAP employee? (your SCN profile doesn't suggest so... but you need to declare this if yes! ) If yes, then there is absolutely no need to hit this forum with this traffic - you are in the right hands going direct to dev via the internal ticket.
please note that SCN is for customers. SAP employees have other mechanisms for technical support. Namely a JAM group called BIPedia for all analytics topics, including a Lumira sub-space. Looking forward to talk to you there in future.
Regards,
H
p.s. on the ticket, please open up access to your test system for the dev's investigation . If its a customer box, use SAP Router.
